No. You paste a bot token from BotFather, choose a processor, and set your tiers. The whole assembly takes about five minutes. If you can configure a payment link, you can run Gatefather.
Directly into your processor account. Gatefather never holds your funds, never escrows, never gates a payout. We only read the receipt from your processor’s webhook and translate it into channel access.
Payments still settle to your processor. Existing subscribers keep their access — we fail closed on creating new gates, not on honoring existing ones. When we’re back, the event stream replays idempotently and the books reconcile.
Always. Export subscriber rolls, payment history, and webhook events at any time in CSV or JSON. Your bot, your channel, and your processor relationship are all in your name. Cancellation revokes our access, not yours.
They’re handled in your processor — the platform Gatefather sees them through. When a refund or chargeback fires, we automatically revoke channel access and update the books. You don’t have to chase anything in the channel.
When a subscription lapses past its dunning window, your bot — not ours — issues a removal call to Telegram. The member is removed within minutes. They keep their DMs with the bot and can re-subscribe at any time without losing history.
